Get the instant recognition you deserve. As a travel agent or meeting planner you use your TRUE Code to identify you as a professional seller of travel. TRUE (Travel Retailer Universal Enumeration) System's sole purpose is to help provide travel agents and meeting planners with the assignment of travel industry numeric codes that are recognized by the travel supplier community, including cruise lines, tour operators, hoteliers, and car rental companies.
The recognition of the TRUE Code by travel suppliers will allow the travel agency or meeting planner the privilege of booking travel products and services directly with travel industry suppliers and be compensated a commission directly by the supplier. This numeric identification code eliminates the need to establish multiple pseudo ID numbers with individual suppliers.
To qualify for a TRUE Code number applicants must have the following criteria:
- Provide documented proof of state registration with the "Seller of Travel" laws if applicable in your state or other states that require out of state sellers of travel to register if applicable.
- Provide proof of the establishment of a professional business checking account.
- Minimum 6 months experience selling and promoting travel

TRUE STARTS 2012 OUT WITH NEW AGENCY ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA AND NEW WEBSITE
Bradenton, FL: TRUE (Travel Retailers Universal Enumeration) coding system has announced some big changes to the 11 year old coding system program that will take effect January 1st, 2012. Gary Fee, President of the TRUE Coding System stated, "After a decade of success with the well-received coding system by the supplier community, it is time to allow Agency Applicants the opportunity to secure a TRUE code without the contingency of having to join OSSN as well."
"There are many Meeting Planners and Agencies that would like to obtain the TRUE code without the requirement to join OSSN,” states Fee. TRUE now has separate applications on the www.TRUE.travel website allowing the applicant to select and secure a TRUE code only or receive a TRUE Code with OSSN Agency membership. applicant to select and secure a TRUE code only or receive a TRUE Code with OSSN Agency membership. The rate to secure only a TRUE code is $325 for 12 months and $280 to renew. Agencies who presently elect to both join OSSN and secure a TRUE code pay a total of $304 which breaks down to $205 for the new agency membership and $99 for the new TRUE code. Their renewal of the agency membership and TRUE code come to a total of only $240 after that each year. “Obviously there are great advantages to join OSSN and take advantage of the savings and the many benefits offered to members of OSSN. However, there are some applicants that simply just want the code and TRUE now recognizes this with the new application process"; states Fee.
